Sanjay Dutt on KGF: Chapter 2 success: I seek out a film which pushes me out of my comfort zone

KGF: Chapter, directed by Prashanth Neel, is on a roll. In its first week, the movie featuring Yash crossed the Rs 750 crore mark globally. The blockbuster has now entered its second week in theatres and shows no signs of slowing down. In just a few days, KGF: Chapter 2 surpassed the longevity gross of Prabhas's Baahubali 1. 

The film has become the greatest post-pandemic hit. The movie is doing extremely well not only in India, but also internationally. Today, Sanjat Dutt, who was seen in the character of Adheera in the film took to his social media account and penned a hearwarming note on the success of the film.

 His note read, 

"There will always be some films which will be more special than the others every once in a while, I seek out a film which pushes me out of my comfort zone. KGF: Chapter 2 was that film for me. It reminded me of my own potential and something about it felt like, I could have fun with it. This film made me realize why cinema, at the end of the day, is a product of passion. Prashant Neel, my director, had sold the vision of the menacing 'Adheera' to me."

He further added, 

"The credit for how my role turned out goes entirely to Prashant. And the captiaon of the ship, its his dream we all brought to screen. This film will always be a reminder that everytime life pops a surprise, you have it in yoy to do better than that. Lots of love to my fans, family and well wishers. They have all been my pillars of strength."

The film also features Raveena Tandon, Srinidhi Shetty, Malavika Avinash, Prakash Raj and Saran in important roles.
