During the press conference of 'Bigg Boss 12', Salman Khan joked that the one person who will not go into the Bigg Boss house will be Priyanka Chopra.

So, during an interview with DNA, the superstar was further probed and asked if Priyanka's entry into the house has been restricted because she walked out of his film 'Bharat'?

To this, Salman laughed said, "We were destroyed that she is not doing Bharat, we were devastated (he says placing his hand on his heart with an impish smile), but we had to handle it, and we did."

The actor then got into a serious note and revealed, "No, she had a genuine problem at that point of time, but it's just that we should have known it slightly earlier. But I am sure it's okay, hope that film (with Chirs Pratt) works out for her. She has got engaged and I am really happy.

Arpita (Khan Sharma, his sister) had gone for the engagement. Now, we have Katrina in Bharat, she is looking beautiful and is working hard. But main waise dalte rehta hoon (about Priyanka), nahi toh boring ho jaata hai (smiles)."

During his interview with TOI, Salman expressed that while he does not hold any grudge against Priyanka for walking out of the film at the last moment, he is somewhere upset with her.

He shared, "She was getting engaged and I told her, 'If you are getting engaged, what's the need (of exiting the project)?' Then she said, 'Shaadi karni hai' to which I said 'Toh shaadi kar lo.'"

The actor also stated that Priyanka was very clear that she will not be a part of 'Bharat' although she was very keen to be a part of the film as she constantly called Arpita Khan and Ali Abbas Zafar, wanting to work with the actor.

On what could be the possible reason for her to quit the film, Khan guessed, "Not doing this had to be because of the wedding or because she doesn't want to work with me anymore."

"It could also be because she doesn't want to work in humari industry (Bollywood) or wants to work only in Hollywood. Whatever she wants to do, I wish her all the best in life. We are glad that she is engaged and happy," Salman added.
