Valentine's Day is right around the corner. And, we've begun counting down the precious days that lead up to the celebration of love. Love has different shades and there are different ways to showcase your love to your loved one.
Today is a day, all the budding lovers look up to the most and i.e. Rose Day. There are different types of roses denoting the different shades and we are spoilt for choice! We have an assorted bunch of roses and each one has a hidden symbol. TV has a host of pairs that could really use a pretty rose. Here's our take on the roses your favourite TV characters must exchange on this day.
Red Rose for Ishita and Raman- Romance
The classic red rose stands for love that has bloomed. It symbolizes a depth of passion. The ultimate colour for romance will do great for Ishita and Raman. The couple has been together for the longest time and has seen a fair share of trials and triumphs. An exchange of a red rose from Raman to Ishita to rekindle their lost romance will be a delight this Valentine's Day.
Yellow Rose for the Oberoi Brothers- Friendship
Yellow roses may be bad news for some (if you know what I mean), but not for the Oberoi brothers. Shivaay, Omkara and Rudra make for a hell of a bromance! We're throwing in a yellow rose bouquet for this charming brotherhood. The flower that describes the bond of friendship and companionship is befitting to this tree who sticks together through thick and thin.

While the black rose isn't standard for Valentine's Day, we feel the need to wriggle it in just for Saanjh and Maya. The
Beyhadh actresses are polar opposites in so many ways courtesy their love for Arjun. We've seen Maya play the vindictive one, but don't you think it would be great if in a strange turn of events we have Saanjh plot revenge and offer Maya a black rose? The black rose stands for revenge, black magic and all things evil and there can be nothing more 'beyhadh' than a catfight of real competition.
Lavender Rose for Naira and Karthik- Love at first sight
The lavender rose has with it an air of enchantment and love at first sight. While the first glimpse is seldom enough to enamour a couple, there are always a few cases of love blooming early. Naira should give Kartik a lavender rose or two while they are getting hitched on their show

White Rose for Ishwari and Sonakshi - Peace
White roses stand for peace and amity. Ishwari and Sonakshi, it's high time you kiss and make up! Yes, there has been an interesting twist to this rivalry in recent times, but a prolonging fight is also too overwhelming to digest. We would like to see the two finally extend an olive branch with Ishwari giving Sonakshi a white rose.
Blue Rose for Rishi and Tanu- Eternity
The Kasam Tere Pyaar ki couple for one is a good contender for love that lasts forever and even beyond (literally). We can easily see this couple riding off into the sunset. A blue rose represents eternal, immortal love and what better way to celebrate it than have it assigned to a couple we cannot see tearing apart any time soon. Rishi should give Tanu a blue rose for eternal love.
Pink rose for Shivaay and Anika- Appreciation
Pink stands for adoration, blossoming love and a new found appreciation. We would like to see some of that poetic love between Shivaay and Anika. Isn't it high time the two acknowledge in mutual gratitude instead of 'misunderstanding and 'blaming' all the time! The picture-perfect couple should bring in a pink rose this Valentine's Day.
Orange rose for Abhi and Pragya- Intimacy
What must it be like to be married for the longest time and yet have a very evident dry spell? This is one couple that needs to explore intimacy and finally consummate their love. And what better way to say it than with an eccentric orange rose? It's high time Abhi gave Pragya a rose and the two get between the sheets!
