Actor Rakul Preet Singh is definitely on an absolute high right now as she now has back-to-back releases in one month.
After being a part of Attack - Part 1 that released earlier this month, Preet Singh is now a part of the Ajay Devgn directorial, Runway 34.
In a recent at length interview, Preet Singh opened up on having back-to-back releases in one month, worrying about the box-office numbers, and whom does she prefer - Ajay Devgn - the actor or the director.
Talking about back-to-back releases this month, she said it feels like a relief to be back in theatre especially after the lull that was constant due to the pandemic. She also added that her role is distinct in both these films and is really excited about it.
Talking about how box-office numbers matter to an actor, she said that she would be lying if she said it doesn't. She agreed that box office numbers does define a film but for her, it is standing by a good project. She mentioned how your position in the market changes with the box-office numbers a film rakes in, even if your role is inconsequential. Sometimes, an actor may have delivered a great performance in a smaller film, but people don’t know about it because that project is not a box-office success.
Having worked with Devgn earlier as a co-actor, she was asked whom does she prefer, Devgn - the actor or the director. To this she said that Devgn knows exactly what he wants as a director. He is extremely aware, focused and there is so much to learn from him. She further praised Devgn saying how he has been in the industry for so many years so it is amazing to learn from him.
Preet Singh has another flurry of releases ahead in the form of Doctor G, Thank God, Mission Cinderella and many more.
