Rakesh Roshan opens up about Hrithik Roshan's 'Krrish 4'

The Indian superhero Krrish universe is one of our favourites. Director Rakesh Roshan recently provided an update on the much-anticipated Bollywood film 'Krrish 4', which stars his son, Hrithik Roshan. The film's scripting process has been ongoing since rumours began circulating about the fourth instalment in 2020.

However, in a recent interview, the director clarified that the film will not begin production until the end of next year. Pre-production will only commence after the script has been completed.

According to Rakesh Roshan, he prefers to take his time while making a film and is in no hurry to finish Krrish 4. The previous instalments of the franchise were also spaced many years apart. This concept is rare in international films, and it has not been attempted before in India. The director has no reference point for the story, which is why it is taking time to develop. Additionally, the film has an emotional core, which focuses on the father-son relationship.

Meanwhile, Hrithik Roshan is currently filming Siddharth Anand's 'Fighter', where he will be sharing the screen with Deepika Padukone for the first time. The film is expected to release in January 2024. He is also set to appear in Ayan Mukerji's 'War 2', which reportedly features Jr NTR in a leading role.
