Raj Kundra Breaks Silence with Cryptic Message After High Court Blocks Eviction Order

Raj Kundra recently posted a cryptic message on X after the Bombay High Court paused the Enforcement Directorate's (ED) eviction order against him and his wife, Shilpa Shetty. This decision offers the couple temporary relief concerning their properties, including their home in Juhu and a farmhouse near Pune. The eviction notices relate to an ongoing investigation into alleged money laundering. However, the High Court has granted an interim stay until Raj and Shilpa file their application against the eviction.

In light of these legal issues, Raj took to X to express his feelings about the situation. He wrote, “For the two men that tried to tarnish my reputation and bring me down. I forgive you, but let me remind you—it’s not easy to break someone who stands on the foundation of truth and courage! The light of honesty always prevails. I stand tall & stronger than ever. Jai Mata Di,” completing his post with folded hands and an evil-eye emoji.

The ED's investigation began in 2018 when Amit Bharadwaj was probed for a Ponzi scheme. Although initially not suspected, both Raj and Shilpa were notified in April 2024 about the provisional attachment of their assets. They have continuously asserted their innocence, with Raj personally attending several summons and Shilpa providing documents through her representatives.

The eviction notice, dated September 27, required the couple to leave their properties within ten days. A bench of Justice Revati Mohite Dere and Justice P.K. Chavan has now paused the eviction until the couple submits their stay application.

The court made it clear that no further action will be taken regarding the eviction until the Appellate Authority considers the couple's appeal. If the decision is not in their favour, Raj and Shilpa will have an additional two weeks to vacate.
