Rahul Bose ahead of Zee5 Taj's release: OTT is the most phenomenal development for work opportunities

The trailer of Zee5's upcoming show Taj has already piqued the interest of the audiences and fans are eagerly waiting to witnes this perodic drama on the screens. The show has a stellar star cast featuring Dharmendra, Naseeruddin Shah, Rahul Bose, Aditi Rao Hydari, Zarina Wahab, Sandhya Mridul, Aashim Gulati and Taaha Shah in primary roles.

In a recent conversation with India Forums, actor Rahul Bose shared his thoughts about OTT platforms giving actors like him and others a chance to reinvent themselves. 

Sharing his views on the same Rahul expressed, 

"I don’t need to reinvent myself because I never invented myself. I was always a no image. I could do Dil Dhadakne Do and play this south Bombay asshole. I could Vishwaroopam and play the Al-Qaeda asshole. I could do Mr. & Mrs. Iyer and play the ideal man, I could do Antaheen and play the ideal cop, I could do Shaurya and play the ideal army man."

He further added, 

"I could do Bengali, Hindi, Kannada, English, Tamil. I could do big films like Dil Dhadakne Do and Vishwaroopam and be a part of those. I could do tiny films like I have done with Buddhadeb Dasgupta and Manmohan Mahapatra and others. So, for me, I don’t think OTT platforms gave a chance to reinvent myself, it’s just an extension of doing what I do and it’s nice. It’s the most phenomenal development for work opportunities for everyone in the industry."

The show is all set to premiere on Zee5 from the 3rd of March, 2023.
