Raha Kapoor captured Mahesh Bhatt's heart sidelining Alia Bhatt; director says, 'You have a gift'

The whole Bhatt clan simply dotes on Raha Kapoor. Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s baby girl has everyone wrapped around her little finger. Mahesh Bhatt earlier said that she is the cynosure of all eyes, the star of every gathering at home. Pooja Bhatt said that Raha Kapoor is going to be the wisest in the family. We have seen how Soni Razdan and Neetu Kapoor have arguments on whether she has taken more on her paternal or maternal side. Mahesh Bhatt who is the writer of Vikram Bhatt’s latest film Bloody Ishq has spoken about how Raha Kapoor’s arrival has sidelined Alia Bhatt in his life. 

He was quoted as saying, “When I became a grandpa, I woke up to what the entire world has been feeling since the dawn of time.” Mahesh Bhatt said he was already in awe of Alia Bhatt, and how she had proven herself as this evolved actress. He said that knowing that his child was now a mother herself stirred up all his emotions. He said, “There is already this wonder of your child, hardly have you recovered from the astounding achievement of your child, who is magical, and now one more dimension has been added to her life and that is of motherhood. Not only is she an astounding actor, but now she is also her mother."

In his earlier interviews, Mahesh Bhatt had described Raha Kapoor as a piece of heaven. He said that she is made for the cameras. When the couple first introduced her to the world at the Christmas bash of the Kapoor, he said he was taken aback. Mahesh Bhatt and Soni Razdan dote on Raha Kapoor.

“Then you have a gift from the skies come out of nowhere… To be brutally honest, the gaze then shifts towards the grandchild. Doting on her a little more. Children have that kind of power, to draw you in completely."
