With Life OK's Ek Nayi Ummeed...Roshni trying to create a new wave in the way television is seen currently, we will see the sensual looking Inderjeet Sagoo soon charming the audience with his attractive physique and of course! His acting skills.

In conversation with Inderjeet, we bring to you an interview where the actor talks about his character in the show.

Inderjeet says, "I play Dr. Rajat Singh who is Dr. Roshni's brother and the owner of Leela Hospital in the show. His vision is to make the hospital successful and thereby carry forward the legacy of treating patients."

Not having done anything substantial in the past, this show will mark Inderjeet's first big debut on television.

An excited Inderjeet quips, "Yes, I agree I have not done any substantial role in the past but I am elated to be given the opportunity to be a part of a project which is not written like a typical television soap not shot like one. Infact, the way we are treated on the sets is unlike the way artists are treated generally."

When asked about shooting with Amol Palekar and his equation with co-star Pooja Gor, he states, "When I started shooting Amol Palekar was not on board but later when I learnt that the makers have signed him on board I felt nervous. I thought it is now time I have to pull up my socks to match up to him. Amol Sir is very approachable as person. He has been a director along with acting, he also gives me tips on technicality."

"With regards to Pooja, she is a sweet girl. I am shy and did not know how to approach a female actor. But she initiated the conversation and we now bond like siblings off-screen too. Infact, she stays close to my house so we mostly travel together on the sets." He adds.

Inderjeet, we wish you all the best as Dr. Rajat in Ek Nayi Ummeed...Roshni!

36 Chowringhee Lane had the best cinematography Ive ever seen! It was quite poetic, the scenes created by Aparna Sen's imagination and Ashok Mehta's camera! This is really a loss to movie industry!
