A film that is made for the digital space..

Ekta Kapoor continues to wow us all with her presentations on AltBalaji and the latest example of the same has been Bose: Dead/Alive, which was one of the most critically acclaimed shows of 2017.
And now that we are in 2018, AltBalaji already has two mega shows ready to go live, while some others are under works.
The much-delayed, The Test Case returns with the remaining episodes on Republic Day and the trailer of the much-anticipated, Haq Se recently went live.
Haq se speak volumes about the tale of four sisters, their mother and a doctor and how their lives changes completely with due course of time due to one particular incident.
What Is It About?
With picturesque Kashmir as the backdrop, we are introduced to Bano, Amal, Jannat and Meher Mirza, four sisters with totally contrasting personalities who live with their mother.
What seems like a normal and loving family with some sweet and sour moments witnesses a complete turnaround owing to one huge occurrence and that is Jannat's passion for meaningful journalism and one provocative blog.
With Kashmir as the background setting, the reference is obvious and that is exactly what Jannat remarks that how Kashmir is constantly ignored by the rest of the world just like Kashmiri men do it to Kashmiri women.
Slammed down by sister Meher, Jannat's point and the whole issue affecting the Mirza family and changing their lives completely is what constitutes Haq Se's main storyline.
Assisted by Dr. Naushad Rizvi (Rajeev Khandelwal), the parallel storyline to the show is Naushad and Meher's (Surveen Chawla) hatred-turning-love relationship, which is surely going to have its own twists and turns too.
The Impact
Kashmir's beautiful background, a plethora of powerhouse performers like Simone Singh, Rukhsar, Surveen Chawla, Parul Gulati and Rajeev Khandelwal among others make Haq Se the perfect visual and creative treat.
What I am truly excited about is how the show doesn't look any less than a celluloid presentation, but still has the boldness and bravura of storytelling which digital space gives the complete freedom for.
The Verdict
Nothing and I mean absolutely nothing about the trailer is underwhelming at all, where any cinema fan who would watch the trailer will only get impressed by it.
Based on Louisa May Alcott's 'Little Women', Ken Ghosh's directorial skills is at its best and Haq Se seems a totally worthy watch.
