Preity Zinta talks about the biological clock, mom guilt and how she did not want a lonely life

Preity Zinta is making a comeback to acting with Lahore 1947. This is after a hiatus of six long years. The actress said she was not keen to do a film as she was focused on her business and personal life. She said the reality for women actors is that there is a biological clock that influences a lot of decisions. Preity Zinta said she never dated anyone from the industry. The actress said she wanted a family to call her own. In her interview, she was quoted as saying, “It's great to play various lives, but you shouldn't forget to live your life. So, I wanted to have children. There’s always a film.”

The actress is also the owner of the Punjab IPL team. She said she is passionate about her business as it is something new to explore and conquer. Preity Zinta who is mother to twins Jai and Gia entered the new chapter of her life through surrogacy. She said she was not keen to become an accomplished actor who was a lonely person. The actress whose recent appearances made fans go gaga said people warned her against taking a sabbatical. Preity Zinta said millions of women face the same dilemma as her. 

Preity Zinta’s kids will soon turn three. The actress says she suffers from mom guilt like every new mother. The actress is paired with Sunny Deol for Lahore 1947.
