Pooja Hegde on shooting for 'Radhe Shyam' with Prabhas in Italy amid rise in Coronavirus cases, 'The show must go on'!

The Coronavirus scare continues to swell around the globe and Europe has recently seen the second wave of coronavirus cases. The unprecedented surge has led the government of respective nations to impose lockdown based on certain conditions. 

Meanwhile, actors Prabhas and Pooja Hegde are busy shooting for their upcoming film Radhe Shyam in Italy. Reportedly, the schedule was cut short after a three-day shoot in Tbilisi owing to the coronavirus-triggered pandemic.

A recent Times of India report quoted Pooja Hegde as she has returned to the sets Six months later, and resumed shooting for the same film in Italy. She even brought in her birthday on October 13 on the set. Speaking about the same she said, "I shot an emotional scene; it was very different from the normal birthday mood, but thanks to the time difference, I got an extra six hours to celebrate it."

The actress stated that the team comprises of a smaller set with crew members wearing a mask. She maintained that 'The show must go on' and informed that we are shooting responsibly and everyone was tested before joining the shoot.

Pooja also revealed the precautions being taken during the shoot and doesn't rule out the risk of shooting in times like these. 

Everything is sanitized on the set at regular intervals but there's only so much that one can do. You have to take off the mask in front of the camera. The shooting environment has changed with a 'no hug' policy, but you have to adapt to the new normal. The first two days were rocky, then, we moved on.

The Times of India report also mentioned that the shoot in Italy will go on till October 31, followed by a brief stint in Hyderabad before calling it a wrap.

"We are taking things as we go along. As they say, 'Man proposes, God disposes'," added Pooja Hegde.

On the work front, Pooja Hegde also has Sajid Nadiadwala's 'Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali', a social comedy with action and drama, with Salman Khan in the lead.
