Yesterday, the 65th National Film Awards Ceremony was held at the Vigyan Bhavan in the capital. Late actor Sridevi was honoured by the president with the Best Actor award for her phenomenal performance in Mom.
To receive her award, Sridevi's husband Boney Kapoor and her daughters Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor were present. Dressed in Indian saree, her daughters totally looked like her replica!
Reportedly, when Sridevi's name was being announced, husband Boney broke down for a few seconds while being seated beside his daughters. He then along with Janhvi and Khushi went to the stage to receive the award from president Ram Nath Kovind and Information and Broadcasting and Textiles Minister Smriti Irani.

Sridevi took her last breathe on the night of 24th February at a hotel in Dubai. Medical reports claim the reason for the sudden demise was because of accidental drowning. Sridevi's untimely death has left a deep effect on the Kapoor family and her fans.
While at the ceremony, Boney in an interaction with DD news expressed, "It is a very proud moment at the same time we miss her. She would have been very happy being here. Aur kya bolu? (What else do I say?)".
He further expressed, "We just feel elated, proud that she is being recognised for the hard work she has put in this film. She got many awards but this tops the list".
Recently, there were reports that Boney is planning to make a film on Sridevi and that he has registered titles like Sri, Sridevi and Sridevi Ma'am. Boney Kapoor confirmed this in an interview to Mid-Day and revealed, "I have registered three titles, but I cannot categorically reveal what they are. It's too premature to talk about it."
He added, "There are plans to make a film, but I can't tell you whether it will be a biopic or documentary. I don't see the need to rush into anything. Whenever there is any further development, everyone will come to know about it."
