Pawan Singh's co-star Amrapali Dubey reveals his unrequited love story with Akshara Singh due to mother

Pawan Singh is one of the star contestants of Ashneer Grover’s Rise And Fall. The Bhojpuri superstar’s professional career has been a glittering one. However, his personal life has been fodder for much gossip. From the unfortunate suicide of his first wife Neelam to separation from Jyoti Singh, and rumoured affair with Akshara Singh, it has been discussed about.

His co-star Amrapali Dubey who has worked with him in many projects revealed how Akshara Singh and he could not marry due to his mother. In an interview with Siddharth Kannan, she spoke about the relationship that made waves in the Bhojpuri industry.

Amrapali Dubey confirmed that Pawan Singh and Akshara Singh fell in love, and it was mutual. However, he could not marry her as his mother had some issues. His first wife Neelam Singh died by suicide a few months after their marriage. He told Shubhankar Mishra that it was a stain on his destiny. Pawan Singh referred to her as a ‘Goddess’ in that interview. She said that Pawan Singh married his second wife, Jyoti Singh in a hurry. It seems he went off quietly to Ballia where the nuptials happened. Invitation cards were also not sent out to friends and colleagues.

It seems Akshara Singh was devastated knowing that he had decided to marry someone else. Amrapali Dubey said that she kept on calling Pawan Singh urging him to reconsider his feelings and Akshara’s emotions. However, he went ahead with his marriage with Jyoti Singh.

Pawan Singh was panned after the clip where he touched Anjali Raghav's midriff went viral all over. He defended himself saying there was an insect. However, Anjali said she would stop working in the Bhojpuri industry after seeing such behaviour from a top male star.
