Bhojpuri superstar and politician Pawan Singh is making headlines, not for his professional endeavors, but due to a personal issue. His wife, Jyoti Singh, penned a heartfelt letter to him, revealing years of emotional pain, neglect, and her fight to be recognized as his wife. This letter emerged following an incident where the singer was seen touching his co-star, Anjali Raghav’s waist, during her speech.

In her letter, Jyoti claimed that Pawan Singh has ignored her numerous attempts to connect with him about family and political issues, leaving her calls and messages unanswered. The letter was shared with a video of the Raja Ji singer applying sindoor on Jyoti’s forehead.

In the caption, she revealed that she even travelled to Lucknow and tried meeting him during Chhath festivities in Dehri, but was denied a meeting. “For several months now, I have been trying to speak to you… but neither you nor the people around you have considered it appropriate to reply to my calls and messages," she wrote.

Jyoti further revealed that her father tried to meet Pawan Singh two months prior but was unsuccessful. Expressing her pain, she questioned, "What great sin have I committed that I am being punished so severely? My parents’ honour is being played with."

The letter depicts Jyoti’s emotional turmoil, as she confessed to feeling on the verge of a breakdown. She wrote that she sees “no option except self-immolation," though she cannot take such a step because of the stigma it would bring to her parents. Despite this, she reiterated that she had always fulfilled her role as a devoted wife: “I have fulfilled my duty as a devoted wife by walking step by step with you — now it is your turn to fulfill your duty."

Jyoti pleaded with Pawan Singh to recognize her, even if not as his wife, but as a fellow human. She noted that he has forgiven numerous political rivals despite their past actions, yet her own appeals have been ignored. “I am your family — yet it hurts me deeply when you embrace such people who once spoke so harshly against you, but when I share my pain, my own family doesn’t even acknowledge me," the letter read.

Jyoti wrote while ending the note, “I have been struggling for seven years, and now I am beginning to hate my own life. Just once, please talk to me, reply to my calls and messages, try to understand my pain at least once."

The revelations have triggered discussions on social media, with fans and online users expressing concern for Jyoti’s well-being and calling on Pawan Singh to address the situation. However, there has been no official response from the actor-singer or his team.
