Netflix Shares Poster of Leila, a Dystopian Drama Based on Prayaag Akbar's Novel!

Netflix India is coming up with a new series, Leila that stars Huma Qureshi, Siddharth, Rahul Khanna, Sanjay Suri, Arif Zakaria, Neha Mahajan and Seema Biswas. Based on Prayaag Akbar's novel by the same name, Leila has been directed by the trio of Deepa Mehta, Shanker Raman and Pawan Kumar.

Leila's story is about a mother Shalini (played by Huma Qureshi) in search for her daughter, who she had lost in one tragic summer. Touted to be a six episodic, Leila will be based in a dystopian city that is segregated by caste, creed and religion. The series will stream on Netflix from 14th July.
