Negative roles attract to me: Kanwar Dhillon

TellyBuzz in a candid conversation with actor Kanwar Dhillon about his plans to return to television...

The good looking and popular actor Kanwar Dhillon, who was last seen on Sony TV's popular show Hum Hain Na, enjoyed all the recognition and appreciation he received from everyone for his character on the show.

The actor is currently on a break from doing daily soaps. We wonder why? In a candid chat with TellyBuzz, Kanwar shares the reason behind taking a break from television, his plans to make a comeback on screen and much more.

Stating the reason behind taking a break from television, Kanwar told us, "Not many people know that, I had got a back injury post Hum Hain Na so I was trying to get back in shape and trying to be strong. This is the reason why I wasn't taking up any show post Hum Hain Na because health comes first. Now that it has been cured, I am in talks for shows again. It was an unbearable pain so I have been declining a lot of offers as I didn't have enough patience for the long shooting schedules and travelling."

The doctor had told me that I have to avoid workouts for few months so I did that. I had also put on some weight around 8-9 kgs. and that was seen on-screen as well during my show. I was told to take some rest. Now I have started doing a lot of activities and exercises. I have also been doing some martial arts and workouts and now I am back in shape and I am totally fit and fine now," adds Kanwar.

When we asked Kanwar about his plans to return to television and about the role he would like to play now, he told us, "I am in talks with a lot of production houses for new shows. I had even signed Sarojini and few other shows but things didn't fall into place but I would say that everything happens for good and there might be something good in this too. I have played a good guy in Hum Hain Na and a bad guy in Na Bole (Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha Season 2) and have received a lot of appreciations for both the roles but I would like to repeat the negative one again. I want to try playing all the roles but negative roles attract to me. I know that it's my plus point and I can play them really well. I am also open for some youth oriented shows and reality shows as well. I will take it up, whichever will come first to me."

We wish you good luck Kanwar.
