In an exclusive chat with India Forums, Kanwar Dhillon opened up about the recent Bigg Boss 18 controversy involving his support for contestant Alice Kaushik. Kanwar addressed how Karan Veer Mehra's decision to nominate Alice based on what he called the “women card” was unfair and cleverly played. Kanwar said "Karan Veer ne as usual jaise sumdi mai game kehlra hai, usne bahot hi smartly Alice ko nominate kar diya, bol diya yeh women card khel rahi hai."
Reflecting on public reactions, Kanwar shared his views on how people quickly jump to conclusions without knowing the full story. "I think being part of the discussion is fine, but there are many people who feel I need the publicity. Last time, things got blown out of proportion. Many from the industry – even people I didn’t know – made comments based only on a promo," he said. He even mentioned that celebrities like Aly Goni and other popular Punjabi stars commented without fully watching the episode, which Kanwar found surprising.
Despite the buzz, Kanwar emphasized he doesn’t care about such opinions. “People are quick to judge. Did they even watch the interview or just a 30-second clip?” he questioned, adding that he has no time for those who don’t understand his side. He further shared, "I don’t need PR stunts or attention from anyone. My show is doing well, and I’m here because of my own hard work."
Talking about Alice Kaushik, Kanwar praised her maturity, especially after Karan Veer Mehra’s clever nomination. "Alice handled it with grace. She didn’t react, which showed her strength. I hope she reaches the finale; it’d be the perfect reply to those trying to pull her down," he shared.
Kanwar also commented on the friendship of Avinash Mishra, Eisha Singh and Vivian Dsena within the Bigg Boss house, saying he believes the bonds formed are strong and will last beyond the show, despite the fights and drama.
Kanwar Dhillon is a famous Indian television actor best known for his role as Shiva Pandya in Pandya Store. He has earned two nominations at the Indian Television Academy Awards. Dhillon began his acting career in 2012 with the show The Buddy Project, where he played the character Kunal. Recently, he's been seen on the popular TV show Udne Ki Aasha as Sachin.

Rightly said. Saying it and using it are diff things. Others are actually using it without saying it. And of course BB edited out the part where she says no, it's wrong to do so. Thank God for WKW that was clarified.

This man is the biggest fool. Alice played it, got called out by host, hence Karan gave reason. And here he is saying, Karan played smartly.
