National Film Awards is one of the most prestigious awards in India and every year only a few talented actors are conferred with this award. The honorary National Film Awards 2019 took place in New Delhi's Vigyan Bhawan today. The winners were announced by Vice President of India Venkaiah Naidu in the presence of Prakash Javadekar, Union Minister for Information & Broadcasting.

Actors Ayushamann Khurrana and Vicky Kaushal won the best actor for their films AndhaDhund and Uri: The Surgical Strike respectively. Akshay Kumar’s PadMan won an award for Best Film on Other Social Issues category. The Best Hindi Film has been awarded to AndhaDhun, whereas the Best Director has been awarded to Aditya Dhar for Uri: The Surgical Strike. Take a look at the entire winners' list.
