Naseeruddin Shah’s son Vivaan on Actor's Hospitalisation Rumours: Baba's Just Fine

Within a span of two days, Bollywood lost two of its finest talents to cancer. Irrfan Khan and Rishi Kapoor succumbed to the deadly illness and left us for heavenly abode. The actors' unfortunate demise has shattered all their fans, friends, family and colleagues, who have been mourning for the great loss.

Amid the already high tension, reports of actor Naseeruddin Shah’s ill health surfaced on the Internet. There were several reports that suggested that the actor is hospitalised.

However, claiming all such reports as 'fake', Naseeruddin's son Viaan has rubbished rumours of his father's ill health and asserted that the actor is doing fine. 

Vivaan wrote in a tweet, “All well everyone! Baba’s just fine. All the rumours about his health are fake. He’s keeping well. Praying for Irfan Bhai and Chintu ji. Missing them a lot. Deepest condolences to their families. Our hearts go out to all of them. It’s a devastating loss for all of us.”

Meanwhile, Naseeruddin Shah also took to Facebook to shut down all such rumours and stated that he is at home. "I thank all those enquiring after my health and reassure them I am fine I'm at home and observing the lockdown. Please don't believe any rumours" he wrote.

Saira Shah Halim, niece of Shah has also assured that the actor is hale and healthy. "He's absolutely fine, and is observing lockdown with my aunt Ratna in Mumbai, it is fake news," she told IANS.
