Nargis was last seen in "Banjo" (2016), opposite Riteish Deshmukh. However, post "Banjo" Nargis soon went to America where she resides. Apparently, it was said to have that she received fewer projects due to the debacle of her last few films. However, after a long gap, the actress finally bags a film opposite superstar Sanjay Dutt in "Torbaaz". 

The film will be directed by Girish Malik and Produced by Rahul Mittra and presented by Raju Chadha of Wave Group. It also has three female leads. While one female will be playing the role of a parent, the second one is about a girl who runs a refugee camp whereas, the third leading heroine will be a Jordanian actress. The team also have artists from Afghanistan, Iran, and America. However, Nargis will be playing the role of a girl who runs a refugee camp. 

There were also reports that the makers have got actress Chitrangada on board for one of the roles but, nothing has been confirmed as yet. Meanwhile, talking about Nargis's part she will be seen playing the parallel lead and has already begun taking language classes in LA for Pushto and Dari, both of which will be used extensively in the film. 

The producer will be travelling to Afghanistan on Tuesday with Sanjay Dutt as they look to begin their first schedule of the film which will run through Christmas and the New Year's Eve. They will start from Bishkek and travel along the Silk Route through Central Asia.
