It is official. Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala are now engaged. Since two years, the couple have reportedly been together. They managed to keep things under wraps but leaked pics told fans a different tale. The two got engaged at the residence of Naga Chaitanya. The bride wore a Uppada saree from Manish Malhotra’s label. She teamed it with gajra of the matching hue on her hair. Fans remembered the date is the same as the one when Samantha Ruth Prabhu proposed their love to him. As we know, #ChaySam were an emotion for millions the world over. 

Now, an astrologer has posted on X that this union of Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala might not be very favourable. But she refused to divulge more on the exact alignment of stars that made her predict this future. May one of the factors is the placement of Moon and Ketu. Both these grahas have a deep impact on our minds and emotions.

A netizen wrote that this ‘tithi’ is not a suitable one for any auspicious occasion. Another one wrote that wedding dates are now after Diwali only. The wedding season in India follows the festive season in the greater part of the nation. 

Naga Chaitanya got married to Samantha Ruth in 2017 but the marriage ended after four years. They had been dating for five long years before that. The two had met on the sets of Ye Maaya Chesave that released in 2010. Prabhu and he did films like Manam, Autonagar Surya and the emotional drama, Majili. In fact, fans went crazy seeing Naga Chaitanya and Samantha Ruth Prabhu once again on the big screen in Manam that re- released a month back. That movie also had their grandfather, Akkineni Nageswara Rao in a special role.

Nagarjuna had the most beautiful words for Sobhita Dhulipala. He wrote on X, “We are delighted to announce the engagement of our son, Naga Chaitanya, to Sobhita Dhulipala, which took place this morning at 9:42 a.m.!! We are overjoyed to welcome her into our family. Congratulations to the happy couple!”
