Naga Chaitanya and Krithi Shetty starrer 'Custody' trailer promises an action-packed thriller

Custody, the highly anticipated film starring Naga Chaitanya and Krithi Shetty, is all set for a theatrical release on May 12, 2023. The film, directed by Venkat Prabhu, is an action-entertainer that has generated a lot of excitement among moviegoers ever since its first teaser was released. The recently unveiled trailer has raised higher expectations with its power-packed and intriguing visuals.

The story of Custody revolves around Naga Chaitanya's character, a constable bound by the law, and his efforts to protect the life of the antagonist, played by Aravind Swami. 

The trailer shows Naga Chaitanya fighting against influential people in society, and his love story with his partner, played by Krithi Shetty, facing troubles. Despite her forced marriage to another man, Naga Chaitanya remains loyal to her and fights for justice.

Naga Chaitanya's convincing portrayal of a cop and his action sequences have garnered much attention. Krithi Shetty, who plays the female lead, also impresses with her performance. Prominent actors Sharath Kumar and Priyamani also appear in pivotal roles. The background score by Maestro Ilayaraja and his son Yuvan Shankar Raja adds to the film's appeal.

The trailer ends with Naga Chaitanya saying, "Truth will take time to win, but win, it certainly will." This has further increased the anticipation among moviegoers.Srinivasaa Chitturi produces the film under the banner of Srinivasaa Silver Screen. The cinematography is by SR Kathir, Rajeevan is the production designer, and DY Satyanarayana is the art director.

Talking about his work front, Naga Chaitanya was last seen in his Bollywood debut film Laal Singh Chaddha alongside Aamir Khan. Laal Singh Chaddha was the official Hindi remake of the Oscar-winning Forrest Gump starring Tom Hanks. However, with Custody, Naga Chaitanya is all set to impress the audience with his action-packed performance.
