Mira Kapoor reveals how she almost miscarried daughter Misha; here's how Shahid Kapoor stepped up as a husband

When Shahid Kapoor married Mira Rajput in 2015, everyone spoke about the age gap of 13 years. The young lady who is from Delhi soon pregnant soon after her marriage. While everyone expects a easy stress-free pregnancy for women in that age group, Mira Kapoor’s journey was somewhat different. Shahid Kapoor and Mira Kapoor have maintained a balance between maintaining privacy and talking about their relationship. In a podcast with Prakhar Gupta, she said that Misha Kapoor is a miracle baby. She said that she had almost miscarried when she was four months pregnant. It seems she had come from a sonography and the doctor told her that she needed to be on complete bed rest. 

He is like I need to talk to you but you can't be sitting, please lie down. Because I had already dilated and I was four months pregnant, so he told me, 'You can lose your baby any moment.'"

Mira said that she was hospitalized for two months post that. She would take it day by day, Monday to Monday. But then, she was too mentally drained out and could not get off from the bed. Seeing her situation, Shahid Kapoor told the docs that he will do a hospital like set-up at their home. They took every precaution possible. When she went home she saw that all the family members had come to surprise her. It seems she was so overwhelmed that she began to get contractions. 

She said that her mental and emotional health improved as they got home. Everything seemed normal. She said Misha was born a healthy baby and the docs said it was a miracle.
