Singer Mika Singh’s manager Soumya Zoheb Khan was found dead at the singer's studio in Mumbai, on February 3 2020. The 30-year-old is reported to have died from a drug overdose.
According to a report in Mumbai Mirror, Versova police station officer Inspector P Bhosle stated that Soumya allegedly killed herself after consuming sleeping pills. The manager’s body was found in the living room on the first floor of Mika’s studio at Bungalow No 19, MHADA colony in the SVP Nagar area of Four Bungalows, on Friday, at around 10.15 pm.
Reportedly, Singh’s manager returned from a late-night party in the morning, around 7 am. The workers working on the ground floor of the studio suspected it to be something strange when she did not come out of the studio till late evening. On inquiry, they went upstairs and found Soumya lying cold on the ground. Soon, she was rushed to the hospital, where she was declared dead.
The report further added that Soumya was working at Mika’s studio for some time, and was suffering from depression, due to family problems. She died due to drug overdose, and the post-mortem reports did not suggest any foul play.
