After reports of Maryaada Lekin Kab Tak? being under keen observation, the show finally sees its end...

Tellybuzz was the first to report on Star Plus' Maryaada Lekin Kab Tak? being under the scrutiny of the channel due to its dipping TRPs. The latest input suggests that the show will go off air later this month. A source from the set informs, "Yes,it's now official that the show is going off air on 25th of this month. The cast and crew is very upset with this development."
Though there were reports that the leads, Riddhi Dogra Vashisth and RaQesh Vashisth were keen on leaving the show, it now seems that they too are upset with the latest news.
We contacted Ridhi Dogra who insists, "I am glad that I was a part of this show as I know that there can be no other show like Maryaada on the small screen. I am happy that I was associated with this show. Only the cast and crew can understand what this show means to us. I promise my fans that whichever show I do next, I will give it my best."
RaQesh Vashisth, too updated his status on one of the social networking sites.

This was the only different show of SP. Will miss Maryada a lot. It had the best ensemble cast & directors & writers. Thanks a lot to DJ Creations for creating this unique show. Good luck to all of the cast & crew!

It had to happen one day, will miss Maryada forever! But I still think this is all STAR Plus's fault if it's not doing well. Wanna see Ridhi and RaQesh in a new show together again, love them all, good luck to everyone involved. :)

maryada is completely different show wid strong characters fightin for justice, nd very broad thinkin abt gays nd modern dresses.. unlike other serials.. always acting innocent nd leads being centre of attraction all the tym!!!

This was one of my favourite shows..the storyline was completly different than all the other day-to-day dramas. And Bramanand Jhakkar needs a gold medal for his performance! This is very bad news that the the show is coming to an end on January 25th. Very Sad.

NOOO.. its shudn't end this fast.. just now its almost a year, wid around 300 episodes.. atleast complete 500 episodes!!! now talkin abt the TRPs.. u can't compare 11:00 show wid 7:00 or other shows!!! I guess yeh rista nd pratigya r dippin in TRPs ..they used to come under top 5 bt now they lack TRs.. hamari devrani was nd is lackin behind in TRPs.. y not end shows like these!!!

initially the story was good, it was about the lead pair and the gay script, later it turned into a boring oldeis triangle story- yuck. which is very common track.even the gay story didnt take off well !! The TRP is low coz its really boring,and GOOD its being chopped off, coz the STORY sucks lik hell.

Basically I am not a soap opera fan. I never watched much more than 5 episodes of any regular soap operas in Indian tv channels recently. Fortunately I watched Maryada for the first time last month, since then I am following it every day because of its fantastic story and screenplay. I am amazed by the pace and super screenplay of Maryada which no other soap opera I have came across till date has. Especially since last 5 episodes I felt like I am watching a movie and not feeling in any corner that I am actually watching a soap opera!!!!!! Hats off to Maryada crew... These are the types of soap operas Indian tv channels needed now to attract younger generation who likes pace and elegant story rather than boring crap which most of the serials showing currently.

I really loved this show but I'm glad it's ending the really good storyline would have turned to crap otherwise

i can't believe this show is ending!!!! all the actors + and - r absolutely fantastic...stupid TRP system! hope ridhi and raqesh come back on screen together SOONNN!!!!
