Manushi Chhillar opens up about pressure to look flawless at Cannes: 'Didn't let it get to me'

Manushi Chhillar, the former Miss World who made her debut at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival, recently spoke about the pressures of looking her best at the renowned global event. In an interview with a news portal, the actress shared her perspective on the expectations surrounding her appearance. She revealed that as an actor, she thoroughly enjoys the process of putting together an outfit. However, she acknowledged that there is undoubtedly pressure to look impeccable on an international platform like Cannes.

Despite the expectations, Manushi emphasized that she did not let the pressure overwhelm her. She attributed her successful appearance to her beautiful team, who helped her navigate the process smoothly. According to her, everything fell into place beautifully, ensuring that she exuded confidence and elegance on the red carpet.

Delving into the details of her outfit, Manushi disclosed that she felt no pressure to wear the best outfit at Cannes. Instead, her priority was to choose an ensemble that made her feel like herself. 

Interestingly, she shared that the Fovari outfit she wore on the first day of the festival was decided just moments before she stepped onto the red carpet. Due to a tight schedule involving a long outdoor shoot, Manushi did not have much time to plan her outfits. It was just five minutes before her red carpet appearance that the final decision on her outfit was made.

Apart from her successful debut at Cannes, on the work front, Manushi will next be seen in ‘Tehran’ alongside John Abraham and ‘Operation Valentine’ with Varun Tej.
