Madhuri in Ishqiya sequel!!

Bollywood's smiling starlet Madhuri Dixit, who has won hearts all over the globe with her flawless dancing and acting skills, is all set to be seen on the big screen once again! This is a particularly exciting scoop of news that will put all her fans in a daze, if not in shock!

Rumor mills were abuzz about Madz (as she's lovingly called) signing a dance-related film to be directed by choreographer-turned-director Remo Dsouza, but nothing till date has been confirmed on that and if her 'claimed' spokespersons are to be trusted, the film wasn't offered to her in the first place, let alone Madhuri starring in it.

Getting to the point, we're here to talk about what Madhuri in indeed going to be starring in, not what wasn't offered to her!

Apparently, Madhuri has given her consent for playing the lead in Vishal Bharadwaj's upcoming project Dedh Ishqiya and yes, you assumed it right, it is indeed a sequel to the critically acclaimed Ishqiya which starred Vidya Balan, alongside Naseeruddin Shah and Arshad Warsi.

While Vidya will not be returning to the film, the duo of Naseeruddin Shah and Arshad Warsi has been retained and Kangna Ranaut has been added to the cast. Accoring to the grapevine, Madhuri will be seen sporting a grey-shade in her 'shaahi' character and will be seen romancing with Naseer sahab.

The sequel is expected to start in May of this year.
