Madhuri Dixit is fondly called as ‘Mohini’, courtesy the super hit song Ek Do Teen from the 1988 film Tezaab. The song is a cult classic and was the actress’ claim to fame.
During a recent chat on Twitter with her fans, Madhuri Dixit opened up about the hit track and revealed some secrets. “Let’s start our #SunoSunaoWithMD Listening Party with #EkDoTeen! Right from starting the rehearsals 10-15 days before the shoot to shooting with a real crowd of 1,000 people, the song has been so special. Send me your questions & share your memories of the song with me,” she asked fans on social media.
Madhuri further recalled how the song was such a success and was so loved by the audience that people would throw money on the theatre screens.

“I didn’t know that the song would get so popular. But it definitely feels great that it did!”
