‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3' Day 1 box office: Kartik Aaryan shines with career-biggest opening

The festive season has been a delight for the 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3' team. Early trends hinted at earnings between Rs 32.50-34.50 crore, but the movie has surpassed these expectations.

As per Sacnilk, Kartik Aaryan's horror-comedy had a lucrative box office debut, collecting Rs 35.50 crore on day one. This marked Kartik Aaryan's most successful opening to date, surpassing 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2,' which opened at Rs 13.45 crores in 2022.

Even with the strong competition from 'Singham Again,' led by industry heavyweights, the movie had an impressive beginning. While its figures may not match 'Singham Again,' its performance was outstanding. Together, both films set a box office record, with 'Singham Again' amassing Rs. 43.50 crore.

Helmed by Aneez Bazmee, the film features Vidya Balan, Madhuri Dixit, and Triptii Dimri in significant roles. Vidya Balan reprises her iconic character as Manjulika, enhancing the fan base of this horror-comedy.

Kartik Aaryan's movie is said to have a budget of Rs 150 crore, while Singham Again is reported to have been made with a budget of Rs 350 crore. Together, these films have set a new box office record by earning a combined total of Rs 79 crore in India on the first day.
