Liam Payne’s family issues FIRST statement after his tragic death

The ex-One Direction member, Liam Payne, tragically died at 31 after falling from his hotel room balcony in Argentina. Shortly after the singer's passing, Payne's family released a statement expressing that he was a courageous and humorous individual.

Following the heartfelt remarks from his family about the former boy band member, celebrities from the music industry also paid their respects to the gifted young artist.

In their statement, the family expressed, “We are heartbroken. Liam will forever live in our hearts and we’ll remember him for his kind, funny and brave soul.” The statement further mentioned, "We are supporting each other the best we can as a family and ask for privacy and space at this awful time." 

Regarding the singer, a medic in Buenos Aires reported that Payne was pronounced dead at the scene after he allegedly fell from the third floor. Reports indicate that he suffered fatal injuries, including a skull fracture and other serious wounds.

As news of the singer's passing spread, fans gathered outside the hotel where he was staying to pay their tributes. He is survived by his parents, sisters, and his 7-year-old son, whom he had with his ex, Cheryl Cole.
