Kussh Sinha clears the air on attending sister Sonakshi Sinha's wedding: "people are publishing inaccurate..."

Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal recently tied the knot in an intimate ceremony on Sunday, but rumors soon emerged claiming that Sonakshi's brothers, Luv and Kussh Sinha, were absent from the event. Addressing these rumors, Kussh Sinha spoke to News18 to set the record straight.

Kussh dismissed the reports of his absence, stating that they were based on inaccurate information. He pointed out that the rumors started with an article quoting an unnamed source. "I have already seen people publishing inaccurate information," Kussh said. "It started with an article in a leading portal that had a quote by an unnamed source. I am not sure who's doing all this right now and where it's coming from. But a few houses have my images [from the night]."

Kussh emphasized that this is a sensitive time for the family and clarified that just because he is a private individual and not often seen in public, it doesn't mean he wasn't present at the wedding. "I was present and I have only good wishes for my sister and will always wish her well," he added.

Sonakshi and Zaheer, who had been dating for seven years, celebrated their union with a reception in Mumbai, attended by Bollywood celebrities like Rekha, Salman Khan, Vidya Balan, Richa Chadha, Tabu and others.

For her reception look, Sonakshi chose a red saree, complemented by an emerald necklace and earrings. Zaheer wore a white kurta and pyjama. The couple shared their joy on Instagram, posting pictures from their wedding and expressing their love for each other. Sonakshi wrote, "On this very day, seven years back (23.06.2017) in each other's eyes, we saw love in its purest form and decided to hold on to it."

She continued, "Today that love has guided us through all the challenges and triumphs... leading up to this moment... where with the blessings of both our families and both our gods... we are now man and wife. Here's to love, hope and all things beautiful with each other, from now until forever. Sonakshi Zaheer 23.06.2024."

Despite the rumors and misinformation, the Sinha family stands united in celebrating Sonakshi and Zaheer's beautiful union, looking forward to a future filled with love and happiness.
