Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput and Sara Ali Khan starrer 'Kedarnath' clocked three years today.
Helmed by Abhishek Kapoor, this was Sara's debut film. On the film's third anniversary, the director, took to his Instagram handle to pen an emotional note for the late actor
Abhishek posted a rare and unseen picture with Sushant from the sets of the movie. The post was captioned as,
''It still raises my hair to think of the sheer passion and the absolute devotion it took to make this saga see the light of day.. But the fruits of one’s labour taste the sweetest when you know you dropped every last shred of sweat to sow them in the first place.. Immensely grateful to the entire cast & crew for braving this endeavour to the T."
He further added,
"Amidst all the gratitude and love, I can't help but be reminded of the grave loss of this extraordinary soul who remains etched to the legacy of this film. I can still feel Mansoor there in the sacred mountainscapes looking right back at me with his characteristic smile reflecting all the innocence & beauty in this world.''
The story revolves around Mansoor played by Sushant Singh Rajput, a reserved and reticent Pithoo, helps pilgrims make an arduous journey upwards to the temple town. His world turns around when he meets the beautiful and rebellious Mukku played by Sara Ali Khan who draws him into a whirlwind of intense love.
Released on 7 December 2018, the film received mixed reviews but the lead actors' performances were praised.
On the work front, Sara will next be seen in filmmaker Aanand L Rai's directorial venture 'Atrangi Re' with Akshay Kumar and Dhanush. It will be released on an OTT platform.
