One of his highly anticipated films is Sky Force, an action drama that has been creating quite a buzz. The film was initially scheduled to release on October 2, 2023, coinciding with Gandhi Jayanti. However, the release date has been repeatedly postponed, leaving fans eagerly waiting for an update.

According to reports, Sky Force is set against a patriotic backdrop, which was one of the reasons the makers initially chose October 2 for its release. However, due to unforeseen circumstances, the release has been pushed back. Now, there are speculations that the film will hit the screens in January 2025, around the time of the 76th Republic Day, which is on January 26.

In April this year, the shooting for Sky Force was completed. A picture from the set had gone viral, showing Akshay Kumar along with the crew as they wrapped up the shoot. Director Sandeep Kewlani took to his social media handle to share the update. He posted a picture of Akshay from the set, where the actor can be seen posing with the team. The crew reportedly filmed for 100 days, with Akshay completing his part in just 60 days.

This film also marks the debut of Veer Pahariya, the maternal grandson of the former Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Sushil Kumar Shinde. Produced by Amar Kaushik, Keval Shah, and Dinesh Vijan under the banner of Maddock Films and Jio Studios, Sky Force also stars actress Nimrat Kaur in a prominent role.

According to reports, Sky Force is based on an untold true story of India's first and deadliest airstrike. With such an intriguing plot and a stellar cast, the film is expected to be one of the major releases in 2025, capturing the spirit of patriotism and action that Akshay Kumar is known for.
