Kasauti Zindagi Kay 2 fame Sabina Jat quits the showbiz industry

Actress Sabina Jat who has been in the industry for thirteen long years has decided to quit the glamour world.

India Forums have exclusively learned that actress Sabina Jatt who has been a part of projects like Thapki Pyaar Ki, Bahu Begam, Nazar and Kasauti Zindagi Kay 2 has decided to quit the showbiz industry.

We contacted her and in brief chat, Sabina officially announced quitting the glamour world. Read the interview below:

When did you decide to quit the industry?

Recently, I had the privilege of doing Umrah and the experience sort of changed by thinking. For me, acting wasn’t really a money-making job, it was my passion but with the passage of time, I realized I’m not having the most important thing in life- Peace. The profession didn’t give me the peace of mind and neither was I happy doing it. Post coming back from Umrah, I was contemplating on this decision, however, we’re in an industry that we can’t take sudden decisions because of on-going contracts. Once I finished my contract with Kasauti in September, I decided to quit showbiz. The pandemic really helped me to stay firm on my decision”.

How difficult was it to take the decision?

It has been indeed a tough decision to let go of the hard work, name and fame that I’ve earned in a span of thirteen years in the industry. But, having peace is more important for me than anything else. I am very content with the decision. Also, I would like to clarify that nobody has forced me to do this and people often question me whether I’m quitting glamour world to settle down and get married. Well, that’s not the case at all.

How did your family and friends react to the decision?

Everybody is happy with my decision and have supported me throughout. I’ve found another alternate of connecting and staying in touch with my fans and that is through my YouTube channel.

Are you planning to take up a job?

I was never a jobbie. I will never do a job. However, I am working very hard on my business and with god’s grace things are moving forward positively and soon I will go on the floors with my new business.
