The Jio MAMI Mumbai Film Festival set the stage for a dazzling night as Hansal Mehta's detective drama, 'The Buckingham Murders,' took center stage, featuring Kareena Kapoor in the lead role. Kareena, accompanied by her sister Karisma and husband Saif Ali Khan, made a grand entrance that left the audience spellbound with their style and grace.

Kareena Kapoor, a vision of glamour and sophistication, donned a striking black gown, adding a pop of panache with pink arm gloves. In contrast, Karisma Kapoor epitomized elegance and poise in a pristine white saree. Saif Ali Khan completed the trio in a resplendent white suit, exuding timeless charm.

'The Buckingham Murders,' co-produced by Ektaa Kapoor's Balaji Motion Pictures, Hansal Mehta, and Kareena Kapoor (marking her debut in production), is a narrative set against the backdrop of London. The story follows Kareena's character, a detective and a dedicated mother, as she delves into a complex case that promises intrigue and suspense.

This remarkable film had previously premiered at the BFI London Film Festival, where it garnered a standing ovation. Kareena Kapoor's character takes inspiration from Kate Winslet's titular role in HBO's 2021 Emmy Award-winning show, 'Mare of Easttown.'
