Karisma Kapoor hires senior advocate Mahesh Jethmalani for case; is this why she chose him for complex matter?

Karisma Kapoor’s kids Samaira Kapoor and Kiaan Raj Kapoor are fighting in the Delhi High Court for their one-fifth share in the personal assets of late Sunjay Kapur. The actress has roped in the services of top legal eagle Mahesh Jethmalani for her kids. Her counsel has maintained that the actress does not want anything for herself but wants to secure the future of her kids. Karisma Kapoor’s side has argued that late Sunjay Kapur had wanted to secure the lives of his children. Mahesh Jethmalani asked Priya Sachdev to show the will that decides the success of Rs 30,000 crores. It seems Sunjay Kapur’s personal assets were only worth Rs 10,000 crores.

The actress has hired the services of Mahesh Jethmalani. He is one of the top lawyers in the nation. We know him as a member of Rajya Sabha as well. Jethmalani has handled many high-profile cases in the past. Everyone knows about the Birla’s Vs Lodha’s case where they claimed that the will of Priyamvada Birla was executed by fraud. Late Ram Jethmalani contested that Rajender S Lodha had tried to convert some of the trust properties for personal gains. It was also an inheritance case. Mahesh Jethmalani was also a part of the Reliance Case where Anil Ambani fought with Mukesh Ambani.

This has to be one of the most high-profile celebrity cases. Mahesh Jethmalani's appointment here is not at all surprising. He has experience with some of the toughest family related disputes in India. His father Ram Jethmalani too was a very respected figure in the Indian legal fraternity. Karisma Kapoor's side has said that they are yet to access the Rs 1,900 crore trust fund.

Late Sunjay Kapur married thrice. He has two biological kids, Samaira Kapur and Kiaan Raj Kapoor from Karisma Kapoor and a son Azarias from Priya Sachdev.
