Dalljiet Kaur's second marriage to Kenya-based businessman Nikhil Patel has been making headlines after the actress accused him of infidelity. Recently, Patel issued a legal notice to Kaur, demanding she collect her belongings from his Kenyan residence or he would donate them to charity. In response, Kaur travelled to Kenya to take legal action and secured a stay order against Patel.
As reported by Hindustan Times, the legal notice issued by the Milimani Court in Nairobi City on June 11 was clear and decisive: "Pending the hearing and final determination of this application, an injunction is at this moment issued restraining the Respondent (Patel), his agents, employees, and/or servants from evicting the Petitioner/Applicant (Kaur) and her child (Jaydon) and/or throwing out and/or whatsoever dealing with the personal effects and belongings of the Petitioner/Applicant in her matrimonial home (in Kenya)." This legal development has undoubtedly shifted the dynamics of the situation.
Kaur's family and friends have poured in support. Among them is actress Karishma Tanna, who publicly backed her friend. Tanna posted on social media, "Whatever happened shouldn't have happened!! My full support is with my dearest friend @kaurdalljiet. This man has done wrong to her, and I will stand by her till the end. Strong women do not seek revenge; they move on and allow karma to do the work"!!

Nikhil Patel confirmed their separation and explained that Kaur's departure from Kenya marked the end of their relationship for him. He told ETimes, "In January this year, Dalljiet decided to leave Kenya with her son Jaydon and return to India, ultimately leading to our separation. We both realized that the foundation of our blended family wasn't as strong as we had hoped, making it hard for Dalljiet to settle in Kenya. In March 2023, we held an Indian wedding ceremony in Mumbai. Though it held cultural significance, it was not legally binding. This ceremony was intended to reassure Dalljiet's family about her move to Kenya."

Weren't they recently married? This is just sad. More concerned about the mental well-being of the actress's son than anyone else. Children do not deserve to go through all this.
