Karanvir Bohra replies to Soundous Moufakir’s allegations, says, “The host objectified you”

Soundous Moufakir and Karanvir Bohra’s war of words has taken the internet by storm. Earlier yesterday, The Khatron Ke Khiladi 13 contestant had accused Karanvir Bohra of objectifying her on an award show and calling her an award. The actress took to her Instagram handle to slam Karanvir and called him out. 

On the other hand, Karanvir retaliated to Soundous’s allegations and clarified his stand. In a video shared by the actor on his Instagram stories, Karanvir can be seen calling Soundous’s allegations a ‘Pr stunt.’ Later, he goes ahead to put forth his stand and states that it was not him who objectified Soundous, but the host. He stated that the host called Soundous a trophy and not him. Further, he also commented on Soundous’s hindi speaking skills and stated that she needs to polish them further because she is not able to distinguish between what the host said and what Karan said. However, in the end the actor apologised to Soundous by stating that if he had hurt someone then he should apologise.

For the unversed, what sparked this controversy is Soundous stating that Karanvir objectified her at an award function. What happened was at an award function Soundous was being awarded for an achievement and was seen talking to the host of the award ceremony, where he went ahead to praise her hindi skills. Amidst this conversation between Soundous and the host, the host was seen asking Karanvir something to which the actor, who was sitting in the audience was seen shouting, ''Tu ye award le jaa ghar" ( Take this award home). This did not go down well with Soundous, and the actress immediately told Karanvir how he can talk like this. She is seen saying, ''Aap aise kaise baat karsakte ho?''
