Karan Kundrra on REPLACING Omkar Kapoor as the lead of 'Dil Hi Toh Hai'!

Ekta Kapoor's Dil Hi Toh Hai on Sony TV has been in the news ever since its inception. While initially it was said to be the TV Czarina's adaptation of Karan Johar's Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham remake, Ekta took to social media that it was not.

And amidst all this buzz, the cast that Ekta has been roping for the show, seems to be making it to the news constantly. Dil Hi Toh Hai boasts of a stellar cast of names like Bejoy Anand, Poonam Dhillon, Farida Dadi, Pooja Banerjee, Akshay Dogra, Gautam Ahuja, Sudeepa Singh and Aradhana Uppal among others.

The show also marks Karan's return to the fiction space after 2 years. And Karan's leading lady is newbie Yogita Bihani, who shot to fame for being the girl in Salman Khan's 10 K Dum Season 2 promo video. Karan will be seen playing Rithwik Noon, a rich and flamboyant businessman from Delhi. And considering the connection between Delhi and fashion alike, the costume team of Dil Hi Toh Hai has been tasked with the job, of styling Karan accordingly.

Interestingly, Pyaar Ka Punchnama fame Omkar Kapoor was initially roped in to play Ritwik in the show. However, with Omkar's loss was Karan's gain and the latter stepped into Omkar's shoes.

When asked Karan about this, he says,"I think this is a part of the business. There are so many shows that somebody has to do but the dates don't work out at the end of the day. It happens in colleagues all the time. So yes, it must have happened and it is very common."
