John Abraham had a heated moment at the trailer launch of his upcoming film Vedaa when asked about his tendency to do action films. The event, held to promote the movie set to release on August 15, 2024, saw John Abraham responding sharply to questions about whether he would consider doing non-action roles.
During the press conference, John was asked why he doesn’t try something new and why his films seem repetitive. This question clearly irritated him. He responded, “Aapne film dekhi hai? Can I call out bad questions and idiots?” John felt that the trailer alone did not reflect the true essence of the film and that people should not judge it based on just a short preview.
He further explained, “Nahi main to aapko sirf directly kehna chahta hoon ki ye film alag hai. Mere hisab se to it is a very intense performance jo maine kara hai. Of course aapne film dekhi nahi hai.” (No, I just want to tell you that this is a different kind of movie. According to me, it is a very intense performance of mine. Of course, you haven’t watched the film yet.) John Abraham was clearly passionate about the film and wanted to convey that Vedaa is different from his usual work.

But if you are wrong, I'm going to turn around and tear you apart.” (See the film first, after that I’m all yours, whatever you say.)
Vedaa tells the story of a young girl named Vedaa, played by Sharvari, who fights against social injustice and oppression. The film, directed by Nikkhil Advani, features Abhishek Bannerjee as the antagonist, with Tamannaah Bhatia and Mouni Roy making cameo appearances
