John Abraham is addressing the underwhelming box office performance of his recent film, Vedaa. The movie, which hit theaters during the Independence Day week, faced stiff competition from Stree 2 and Khel Khel Mein.

In a candid conversation with Radio City, John Abraham shared his thoughts on the film’s box office performance and its impact. Despite Vedaa not performing as expected, John remains unfazed by the financial metrics. He stated, “I think it is a brave film to do, very brave. Aur mai honestly keh raha hoon, success aur failure se jyada jo aap film me message de rahe ho, jo aap mudda utha rahe ho film mein, I think that’s very important. We’ve told it in an entertaining way, lekin mudda toh mudda hi hai. Agar mudda bhaari hai, aur logon ko kuch bhaari dekhna pasand nahi hai toh wo unka choice hai aur main usko bohot respect karta hoon. Agar unko mudda face karna hota hai, they need to face it.”

John’s remarks highlight his belief that the essence of a film lies in its message rather than its commercial success. He respects the audience’s choice to either embrace or reject challenging content.

Vedaa, directed by Nikkhil Advani, stars Sharvari, Abhishek Banerjee, and Tamannaah Bhatia. The film tells the story of Vedaa (Sharvari), a young woman who challenges societal norms with the support of a former soldier (John). The film is produced by Zee Studios, Umesh Kr Bansal, Monisha Advani, Madhu Bhojwani, and John Abraham, with Minnakshi Das serving as co-producer.

Maybe he should just leave the industry since his movies are not doing well. Same with Sallu Budhao, Ajay Devgan and Akshay Kumar. These guys should leave the industry.
