Jigra starring Alia Bhatt and Vedang Raina, receives U/A certificate from the CBFC

The launch of the highly anticipated Alia Bhatt and Vedang Raina starrer Jigra is just around the corner. The film’s trailer and several songs have already generated significant excitement among audiences. Before its theatrical debut, it has been reported that the film has obtained a U/A certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC), and its runtime will be 155 minutes.
The info regarding this can be found on the CBFC website, where it states that the U/A rating has been assigned, and the certified length of Jigra is 155 minutes, which translates to 2 hours and 35 minutes.
Yesterday, the makers released Tenu Sang Rakhna, a new song from the music album. This soulful melody is composed by Achint Thakkar, with lyrics penned by Varun Grover. The vocals for the song are provided by Arijit Singh, Anumita Nadesan, and Achint Thakkar. The team has described Tenu Sang Rakhna as the “heart and soul” of the film Jigra.
Earlier, the makers released an inspirational track titled Chal Kudiye, performed by Alia Bhatt and Diljit Dosanjh. Additionally, Vedang Raina’s recreated version of Phoolon Ka Taaro was launched alongside the teaser trailer.
Jigra is presented by Viacom18 Studios, Dharma Productions, and Eternal Sunshine Productions, and is produced by Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Alia Bhatt, Shaheen Bhatt, and Somen Mishra. This film marks Alia’s second project as a home production after the 2022 dark comedy Darlings. During the official announcement of the film, Alia expressed, “From debuting in a Dharma production to now producing a film with them, it feels like coming full circle from where I started.”
