Jhalak has been a great help to get Chautala out of me: Kavita Kaushik

You have seen the talented actress Kavita Kaushik in a strong role of Chandramukhi Chautala on her long running popular show F.I.R on SAB TV.

Now with the new season of popular dance reality show Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 8 to hit the screens soon, Kavita will be seen grooving on the dance floor of Jhalak along with the other contestants. In a conversation with TellyBuzz, Kavita shares about her reason to be on the show, her passion for dancing and much more.

Why did you opt for Jhalak? 

Since I have never had any dance training and had been exhibiting my dancing talent on screen for long, I could feel that I was getting burnt out and need to polish my art of dance. What a better platform than jhalak I could get where they not only train you for the competition but also train you in various forms and transform your entire body!

How passionate you are about dancing? 

I love dancing like no one's watching but it's so important to know how to dance when people are not only watching you but also judging you. My passion for dance is increasing by the day.

What are the preparations you are doing to give your best on the stage of Jhalak? 

It has become a priority right now. My life is revolving around rehearsals! I dream of dancing and I also get nightmares that I am not doing it well.

Dancing requires a lot of stamina. What's going to be your fitness mantra? 

Yoga ! It's for the body, mind and soul; Yoga se sab hoga!

According to you, who is going to be the toughest contender for you?

Everyone on board is fantastic! Each one has their own unique quality and we all are great competition to each other.

What you have been busy with post F.I.R?  What are you looking forward to post Jhalak? 

Post F.I.R I have been consciously willing to polish my skills, change my body language, get Chautala out of my system, transform and prepare for my next and thankfully jhalak has been of great help in that. Post jhalak I'm looking forward to a long holiday and then doing some fun filled roles.
