It's been a wonderful journey: Sumit Kaul on 'Ashoka Samrat'

As his track in "Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat" comes to an end, actor Sumit Kaul says his journey in the TV show was enriching and he is leaving it with life-changing lessons -- passion towards everything and value for his mother.

As his track in "Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat" comes to an end, actor Sumit Kaul says his journey in the TV show was enriching and he is leaving it with life-changing lessons -- passion towards everything and value for his mother.

Sumit stepped into the character of Justin, who is born to Chandragupta Maurya and his Greek queen Helena in the show.

"It's been a wonderful journey... Since it's a historical show, characters are bound to die sometime or the other and hence my journey as Justin is about to come to a closure.

"Justin is a man of passion and that is what he has brought back to my life, passion. Also his relationship with his mother has pushed me to further strengthen my relationship with my mom. I will miss Justin," Sumit said in a statement.

The show, which is aired on Colors channel, narrates story of Ashoka and his rise in ruling a kingdom.

Sumit Kaul was superb as Justin. I really loved his performance. I recetly started to watch the show and found out that Justin is going to die on the show. A real pity as I love his scenes. But I love how Justin loved Noor with all his heart and his Mother as well. A very passionate man.

We will miss Justin and Sumit Kaul. Justin was a real character- passionate, loving with bit of grey in it. Felt really bad for him cause he got punished for the crime he didn't commit and died for someone he really cares for. Best wishes for Sumit's future.

I really cried to see the execution of Justin by Helena...what an amazing performance...i was completely shocked at that scene...

Justin is really gonna die. I m shocked! The worst part is that Justin was not the conspirator.Felt bad for him.

Surely the audience will miss u!

Dint Deserve this penalty and I thought Helena would save him. May be this is how real Justin died. Only cvs only know what they are showing!
