INSIDE Sunita Kapoor's Karwa Chauth celebration; 'Bollywood Wives' & the '90's Divas' steal the show

Karwa Chauth, the festival of love and devotion, was celebrated with grandeur around the world last night. In Mumbai, one of the biggest celebrations took place at Sunita Kapoor’s residence, where she once again hosted a star-studded event that is now making headlines. 

Known for her impeccable hosting, Sunita brought together Bollywood’s brightest stars to celebrate this auspicious day, and inside pictures and videos from the evening have taken over social media.

Shilpa Shetty, one of Bollywood’s most beloved 90s divas, shared a glimpse of the festivities on Instagram, thanking Sunita Kapoor for her perfect hosting. She posted a video of herself performing the puja with fellow Bollywood stars Mira Rajput, Reema Kapoor, and Antara Marwah. Dressed in a dazzling red lehenga adorned with kundan jewelry, Shilpa looked every bit the diva she is. She captioned her post, “Happy Karwa Chauth Ladies. Thank you @kapoor.sunita for always organizing this so impeccably. Love you.”

The end of Shilpa’s video featured more stars joining in the celebration, including Raveena Tandon, Geeta Basra, Maheep Kapoor, and several other well-known faces. Raveena, another 90s icon, shared pictures and videos from the event on her own Instagram, capturing her mehendi application and posing with the other women present. Departing from the traditional saree look, Raveena opted for an elegant anarkali kurta, while many other guests, including Shilpa, Geeta Basra, and Mira Rajput, wore stunning red sarees. Sunita Kapoor and Maheep Kapoor added a touch of pink to the gathering, choosing beautiful ethnic outfits for the occasion.

The reunion of the cast from Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives also garnered attention, as Maheep Kapoor, Neelam Kothari, and Bhavana Pandey celebrated with their husbands. Chunky Panday, Bhavana's husband, shared a delightful photo album from the evening, featuring Anil Kapoor, Sanjay Kapoor, and several other Bollywood stars, giving fans a peek into the glamorous evening.
