F.R.I.E.N.D.S is one show you can definitely turn to in times you want a change of mood. Irrespective of how many times you've watched it, you can never have enough of the show. And, now that we are mid-way into this week, we at India-forums thought what better way to up our moods and spirits with a mention about one of most popular and successful sitcom of all time, F.R.I.E.N.D.S.

We re-imagine the show with Indian TV actors who we think would perfectly fit into the shoes of the iconic characters of all time. Read on as we list down the Indian version of the cast:

Sriti Jha as Monica Geller

Kumkum Bhagya actress, Sriti Jha makes for an ideal Monica, because we can totally see Sriti pulling off a smart, self-made and a desirable woman. Also, Sriti would fit the bill of being a cynic, given how she as Pragya has been hell bent on getting back her love, Abhi (Shabbir Ahluwalia).

Ravi Dubey as Chandler Bing

Both Mathew Perry and Ravi Dubey are amazing actors, and there is no doubt about that. Talking about Ravi being the Chandler Bing from F.R.I.E.N.D.S, we have to give it out to him for his comic timing and how he can be a complete droll. Also, he will make for a good observer just like Chandler does of his and everyone else's life. Chandler is the perfect combination of being sarcastic and humourous, which is what we see Ravi doing perfectly.

Rithvik Dhanjani as Joey Tribbiani

Chandler and Joey are to each other in F.R.I.E.N.D.S, what Ravi and Rithvik are to each other for real, which obviously makes their pairing one of the most ideal choices. Rithvik would nail the character of Joey because he has his own ways with women, and he can play the macho and smug man like a boss along with playing an adorable ditzy character.

Mouni Roy as Rachel Green

Rachel is the spoilt brat from the lot and the most adorable one as well. And we think that she would make for the archetypal Rachel because she is beautiful, and well, we can see her not having to struggle her way through for things at all. Rachel has her way around things and people, even when she's left on her own she emerges as  a winner. Of course, that is something for what we love Mouni as well,r too making it a certainty that she could do it as Rachel, perfectly. Oh, and yes, Mouni and Sriti? Totally happening!

Namik Paul as Ross Geller

We can only imagine the Ek Duje Ke Vaaste actor, Namik Paul as Ross courtesy his built and of course and his ability to be both sensitive and funny at the same time. He is the perfect fit to play an intelligent man, the sensitive brother, and of course, the romantic boyfriend. And seeing him with our Rachel (Mouni) might be a fun watch.

Sanjeeda Shaikh as Pheobe Buffay

Sanjeeda can resonate with Pheobe's character because both of them spell sweetness. Pheobe is a good soul, new age waif and a little flaky, which we think Sanjeeda would make for in all the quintessential ways.

That was our giveaway to you on this F.R.I.E.N.D.Ship's day. What do you have to say about this? Have any better suggestions to give? Leave your comments below.

No offense to the actors, but friends can never be remade, at least not on Indian television where shows are dragged , loose its original point and equality of screen presence for each character is missing.
Plus even if they want to make a show with the given cast. It should be original because lets face it, even if they try they cannot recreate Monica, Rachel and the rest of the gang.
