“I struggled for 2 days just to find Covid 19 testing venues in Delhi and here at Kasautii, I was tested within 2 hours”: Charvi Saraf

Actor Charvi Saraf has started believing in the power of entertainment business, recalls when she was in Delhi she could not find a lab or hospital to get herself tested for 2 days visa-ve she got her tests done within 2 hours at Kasautii sets

 With Parth Samathan’s testing Covid positive, the entire cast and crew of Kasautti Zindagi Kay were tested. The primary cast of Karan Patel, Erica Fernandes, Pooja Banerjee, Aamna Shariff all shared news that they tested negative. Latest to join the names is Charvi Saraf who plays Shivani, Prerna’s sister in the show. Like everyone else, Charvi too tested negative but unlike others, she has a back story with her.

“I tested negative for Covid 19 and I wish to thank my producers for the prompt action on sets. I have a history when it comes to Covid testing two months back when I was in Delhi which is my hometown. I was showing all possible symptoms of Covid 19 and I was very scared. For 2 days I was just frenetically making calls to hospitals, clinics and labs so that I could get myself tested. Unfortunately after all attempts I had to go to social media to express my concern after which I was flooded with details and numbers for the tests.

Where I took 2 days only to find a number, we had BMC officials on our sets within 2 hours of reporting. I have seen and want to thank the power of entertainment industry and being public figure serves hot and right here. I also feel that a commoner should be equally addressed the way public figures are, hence proving the right to equality”.
