I am a supernatural freak: Sudha Chandran

Ace actress, Sudha Chandran who was being missed by the audience since a long time, is all set to make a comeback on television with Colors' upcoming fiction series 'Naagin'.

'Naagin' is like a homecoming for Sudha after she worked with Balaji for 'Kahin Kisi Roz'. She will be seen essaying the role of a doting mother of Ritik (Arjun Bijlani) on the show and her character would be positive. In a conversation with her, we tried to dig in deep about.. her character on the show, working with Balaji again, her belief in supernatural and much more.

It's being said that her character on the show is inspired by Aruna Irani's character from the movie 'Beta'. When she was asked about it, she assured, "It's not inspired by Aruna Irani's character. The mother is always doting towards the son more than the daughter, as she is more attached to the son because he is the notorious guy in the house."

'Naagin' is like a homecoming for Sudha and she is quite happy about it. About her reasons, for coming back to fiction after a long period of time and working with Ekta (Ekta Kapoor), she admits,"I just wanted to come back on television and I was looking for the right role and the right project. I always believe in taking up the right proposal, the right project, at the right time, on the right channel and the right production house. It was like a jigsaw puzzle that has joined together and everything is set right."   

"Ekta is like a tsunami. I met her after long 8-9 years but every time I meet her, I comeback with so much of energy. She is the most inspiring person for me. She always comes up with something new when TV goes through a monotonous phase. She always bangs with a very revolutionary thought. She is a trendsetter because she has the guts to experiment," adds the beautiful lady.

Lastly, we also inquired her about her belief in supernatural. To which she exclaimed, "I am a supernatural freak. I can get into a room and feel the vibrations and I have experienced such things too. I do believe in science and technology but I also believe that there is something which exists which is not to be seen from naked eye and if one wants to see it, it's very scary."
