As Kites begins to make waves with all
the promotions turning to top
gear, the music album for the movie finally hit the stores, along with a
simultaneous internet launch.
A big surprise element was involved herein!
Tinsel town's golden boy Hrithik Roshan, who has until now well established his mettle in acting, and been labeled by many, a revolution in Bollywood dancing, is now all set to hit the musical charts by giving his vocals for the first time ever to a song in his soon to be released Kites.
Director Anurag Basu, had immense faith in Hrithik, who of his own accord was rather uncertain of giving the whole sing-himself deal a try. The Roshans being a name well acknowledged in Bollywood music, Uncle Rajesh Roshan and Director Basu were confident that Hrithik had it in him to sing the title track Kites in the sky for the movie.
Hrithik on his part, having ultimately recorded the song for the album, is happy to have given his all to the effort and hopes that his fans will appreciate him as much as they have in all previous endeavours.
Basu, meanwhile in his praise of Hrithik's so far untapped talent went as far as claiming that the actor could actually consider pursuing an alternate career in music, if acting ever begun to stagnate for him.
Kites, which co stars Mexican actress Barbara Mori opposite Hrithik, and has also cast Kangana Ranaut and Kabir Bedi, is due for release this 21st of May.
